House passes health care reform in historic vote.
After a year's worth of debates, delays, and parliamentary maneuvering, the House of Representatives approved historic legislation to revamp the nation's health care system this evening.
By an 219 to 212 margin, the measure narrowly cleared after a day of debate that featured impassioned protests from Republican opponents on grounds of fiscal excess and expanded government power - and just-as-emphatic support from Democrats citing the moral imperative to help those suffering under the current system.
For all the heated sentiment, the actual scope of the House's action was fairly narrow - it approved the bill passed by the Senate in a similarly partisan vote last December. Now the bill could conceivably go straight to President Obama's desk, where it will be signed into law.
But that may not happen until the House moves another bill that will rid the Senate bill of some of the provisions Democratic House members object to, like the so-called "Cornhusker Kickback," the special package of Medicaid benefits set aside for Nebraska in order to win the vote of centrist Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE). This second bill will also need 216 votes and, if passed, will go to the Senate to be debated and voted on this week.
The White House and the House Democratic leadership were able to score the victory in large part because of the support of antiabortion Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI), who has fought to keep language that would severely restrict federal funding of abortions. Stupak and the cluster of swing antiabortion votes that have come to be known as "the Stupak 12" agreed to move into the "yes" column after additional assurances from the White House that President Obama will sign an executive order that reiterates that federal money won't be used to pay for abortion procedures.
The coming mark of the beast (in development), now addopted as law. Study the rfid option in this law - named a class II device ...
Congratulations everybody - again a step closer to a new world order ;-((

@todzilla73 And what do they know about God? And who do they think they are to tell people what God wants??

@sovietkazakh The health care has the Mark of the beast in it. There are plenty of people preaching about it. Jack Van Impe, Hal Lyndsey, and Chuck Missler just to name a few.

@todzilla73 Wtf does health care have to do with Jesus? Where in the bible does it say that Jesus said that Satan will introduce health care reform to the US? Stop being so damn crazy

I was going to quote Padme, but someone beat me to it. Based on several FB conversations I've had, a lot of very intelligent people have no idea how bad this is for our civil liberties and financial solvency. Democracy has been dealt a heavy blow and people are applauding. Very, very sad....

You are going against Jesus. Obama death care is leading to the mark.

Just wait for the second Rfid-chip comes into place. It will allow the government to hear and see everthing you do. Go ahead and give me a negetive mark on this. You people need to know what the mark is.
