Natural Hair : Wash and Detangle

Hi Curlies....

This video shows how I wash and detangle my hair which I do about 2- 3 times a month(on average). I cowash at times as well but there is nothing like a shampoo. :-) I feel that cleansing your scalp and ridding your hair of buildup and product residue is important and I wanted to show you guys the products that I use for my shampoos and how I minimize tangles and breakage all while making the styling process easier on myself. I use an all natural shampoo bar that is gentle on the hair and does not have the harsh stripping effects that some products provide.

*Conditioner - Herbal Essences: Hello Hydration
Fused with Orchid & Coconut Milk. This stuff is awesome for detangling in my opinion.....great slip.

*Detangling Comb - Conair Icy Pastels Shower Comb

*Detangling Brush - Goody Detangling Brush(Similar to the Denman but much cheaper :-p)

*Hair Clamps - I picked up a bag of these multi colored hair clamps at a local Beauty Supply. Not sure of the exact brand.

Awesome video! I do mine this way too except in twists. But I think I will switch to braids b/c you can do the hair in bigger sections than twists.
