The Royal Enfield Factory at Chennai, India still produces the original 1952 model of the Bullet motorcycle, in exactly the same process as they have used for decades. This includes the fuel tank, which is decorated with twin golden stripes that are painted on by hand, by 2 artists. This guy has been painting tanks for ages, just like his father before him. Watch how his hand glides over the freshly-minted tank, leaving a precise, uniform strip of gold paint that looks like it was done using machines. Their work is so good that the number of motorcycles made in a day actually depends on how many tanks he can finish.

  • Wow! Just incredible, (bows head in admiration)! I have much respect for Royal Enfield and this man although have never owned an RE bike (yet).

For all the Jap bikes I've had I doubt anyone in Japan (or China where they actually produce) could do the same.

  • I Seen this guy, when i did my Project in RE chennai. His father was also Ex employee of RE, doing the same work.Very talented fellow and humble towards everyone.Nearly 72000 bullets getting ready for sale in an year excluding Rejects...

  • Seriously who can dislike this video?

  • There should be an option on YouTube for displaying the names of those who dislike a video... However good a video may be, there is always someone to dislike it.... I mean who the hell will dislike this video unless he is a blind....

  • Fake!!!

  • No machine can give more love and dedication to this art form.

To buy an Enfeild, it is buying a piece of art.

Even if you do not ride, you will apprciate the art of an RE motorcycle.
