  • This whole Album was amazing, I remember buying it in 98 i think I played that cassette tape over and over.

  • Wyclef really is a pillar in making Haitian Americans like me, embrace their culture even when peers of other cultures would try to discourage us from reppin' who we are!

  • that's true

  • Wyclef was a major force in Miami when Haitians were ashamed to represent their nationality. I remember being in Miami and people used to lie about being Haitian and when Wyclef came out and represented hard and made it cool to be Haitian then everybody represented. Wyclef deserves a lot of credit for that.

  • I have no idea what he is saying, but this was my favorite song on the whole album. Great song

  • this song + herb = A much better day!!!

  • From the blan perspective, people of Haitian descent need to STAND UP and BE PROUD and SUPPORT the talented and passionate people and culture of Haiti. I'm not Haitian but I have lived in Haiti. It is magnificent and unique in all the world. The poverty has killed the confidence of the people. Just when things finally looked a bit better the quake... I see you Haiti. I love you. You are special and your people deserve the same opportunities that free people have all over the world. Remnen...

  • @mlking213 Written, it is "Kreyol" yes? It is a beautiful language and should be written down as much as possible.Haiti is unique in all the world.

  • I'm from South Carolina. In 1997 I was a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Haiti, where I was introduced to the music of the Fugees. I was blessed to experience firsthand the impact of this music on the beleagured people of Haiti. I'll never forget the first time I heard Yele, on a camion, in the mountains between PauP and Jacmel. Everyone was singing their hearts out. It was beautiful.

  • Wyclef Jean ki pi bon an!

  • Mwen menm mwen nan renmen ak chante sa a! :D

  • i love this song it is amazing i rate this cd top of the line
