40 years ago today former President Nixon had ended the gold standard. We'll take a look at the U.S. economy today and ask if the move was a win or a loss for the Americans? Then, after BART shut off cell phone service last week, Anonymous has staged a protest for tonight, but will they do it again? Also statistics released by the army for July show that army suicide rates hit a record of 32 in one month. And then don't miss Happy Hour.

  • Please don't bring on any brain dead people like Samantha Nerove anymore. She was clueless and her pausing in between sentences was cringeful an awkward.

  • TOOL TIME: So how big is this EMP supposed to be? EMPs only knock out power over a certain radius, they dont go on forever.

Michelle Bachmann an attractive woman? Get fucking real! She looks like a fucking troll demon sent from another time to try and blend in to take over and kill us all ready for a take over of the Earth of her kind. If you think she's attractive you're not looking at her .... or mistaking her for someone else.

Thanks for talking about Ron Paul.

    RON PAUL 2012

  • Gaffney is a paranoid neocon who spread his crap to scare the uneducated teabaggers.

  • @sykotix1 I may have been insensitive but she is absolutely clueless to the matter at hand, her cause is flawed deeply. She should focus more on the cause, not effect. #cause&effect

  • @Sykotix1 Thanks Sykotix1 you and i are most definitely on the same page :)

  • @ilotitto

It's not a 100% cure, but does have a pretty high success rate.

The fact that marijuana isn't even legal for medical reasons in the UK yet makes me ashamed to be British.

  • @starrra1 Exactly.

The Republicans are just corporate advocates in cheap suits. Unforunately, the Democrats have become a group of sycophantic masochists that seem to enjoy being smacked around by the Republicans. Partly because they're weak, and partly because most of them are in bed with the same corporations.

You can't have a political system where private companies can give unlimited donations to politicians, without suffering extreme corruption, and that's what we're seeing right now.

  • @Sykotix1 hi Sykotix1 i share your sentiment 100% , i am a progressive , but if Ron Paul Wins i will vote for hem because now we know that Obama is for Obama, the war profiteers , Wall Street, Obama and all the corporate Dems. have destroyed the Democratic Party , both parties need 95 % reconstruction TOP DOWN

    THANK YOU !

  • @starrra1

I hope he will win. The idea of Bachmann or Perry as President scares the shit out of me, and Romney's just a classic corporatist.

Also, he's the Republicans best chance of a Republican president, as you say, because he has great cross-over appeal, and a lot of liberals will find themselves in agreement with him on a lot of things.

He's certainly not my first choice for president, but he's the best Republican out there, and I think I'd actually prefer him to Obama!

  • @DexArtist

    Brain dead?

    That's a little insensitive.

I thought the same to begin with, but she suffers from PTSD, so it's not entirely surprising.
