This documentary is the saddest thing I've seen in some time. Christ, it's a wonder they survive at all. There is no motivation to do anything there unless you're a criminal - or a taxi driver, evidently. How can a guy turn down $60 for a two minute fare when a pilot makes $180 per month?

@beeroosterm It really was a disaster after 1991. I think that to an extent russia outside of moscow and leningrad is still just like this.
