  • What LED's are you looking at, im looking in to a few myself for once the 120 is more established.

  • @nyinfamous2k2 I was thinking about making my own. I'm going to be making another canopy for a friend and I've had some requests from visiters of my website to do a detailed step by step video series on a canopy build and I was thinking of doing a custom LED setup to go along with the Canopy (work out all the bugs). And If I'm any good at it I'll make one for My Setup.

  • nice work..look forward to your led build..

  • @johnnykat21 Thanks, Me too.

  • Did you cut wrong? It doesnt fit over the tank!

  • @SoundsFantastic I Built it so the tank and canopy act like a tongue and groove, The Tank fits in the canopy, locking it in. I got a little one running around and I didnt want it just sitting on the tank.

  • How do you build LED lights?

  • Good work bad choice in design IMO. Why didn't you cover the rim of the aquarium? Don't like!

  • Real nice canopy man, nice work.

  • canopy looks great man

  • Nice job . . . only thing that I thinks distracts is the end to the left being open. The back gives a soft glow upwards, but the side to me looks harsh.

  • LED all the way!

  • the canopy looks good!!!

  • Any professional built canopy will have it cover the sides of the trim on the tank. Think of it like the lid on your drink from McDonalds. The lid fits snuggly over the rim of the cup while what little weight there is rests on the rim. Thats what the canopy should do. This ensures it cant be pushed or moved in any lateral direction and the weight is spread evenly across the whole tank. Also its more appealing that the plastic is hidden and all that work on that beautiful canopy can shine.
