Songs From the Second Floor (Long Takes)

Here is a different use of long takes: no camera movements, just static sequence shots done in tableaux style and for purposes of (deadpan) comedy. Far from simple, the decision to do each scene in a single shot means that the filmmaker must exert absolute precision in terms of camera placement and blocking of the actors.
