Silicon Valley Repertory Jazz Orchestra is the newest all "pro" big band in San Jose's "Silicon Valley". Co-led by trumpeter John Worley, trombonist Wayne Wallace, baritione saxophonist Dr Aaron Lington and guitarist Scott Sorkin, SVRJO is made up of local professional musicians who's performing and recording credits include Woody Herman, Maynard Ferguson, Count Basie, Louie Bellson, Bill Watrous and countless more. SVRJO features the works of local writer's and arrangers who are members of the jazz orchestra as well as material from other well known big bands.
