According to the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are more than 31 million people currently unemployed -- that's including those involuntarily working part time and those who want a job, but have given up on trying to find one. In the face of the worst economic upheaval since the Great Depression, millions of Americans are hurting. "The Decline: The Geography of a Recession," as created by labor writer LaToya Egwuekwe, serves as a vivid representation of just how much. Watch the deteriorating transformation of the U.S. economy from January 2007 -- approximately one year before the start of the recession -- to the most recent unemployment data available today. • Baby boomers we must pay attention to where our products are being manufactured. We have the numbers to change this trend. Reward the companies that are trying to stay. If we buy cheap now.. think of what result will be for our grandchildren.

  • STOP OUTSOURCING OUR JOBS AWAY!

  • Stupid stupid sheeple...

One makes currency.. he then retracts the currency from the market when he wants economic change (or other change)= DEPRESSION.. ITS THAT SIMPLE SHEEPLE...

"The Act establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. The greatest crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking & currency bill. From now on, depressions will be scientifically created."

    - Charles August Lindbergh, US Congressman, 1913, on the passage of the

    Federal Reserve Act.

    Wake up you fools!

  • equalmoney!! google it

  • The whole world should shorten the work week so that the jobs that are still out there can be divided among more people.

  • When exactly did the US go green? >__>

  • how about we make it so business want to say and come here to do business rather then asking people to pay more for stuff by looking for a made in america tag. think of the job market as the ocean, the more toxic the waters the less fish you will find.

  • To understand anything ask yourself "who benefits?" and follow the money. Do you really think our leaders and economists are so stupid that this happened by accident?

  • That's really silly, actually bordering on ignorant. I am not a green person, but I am realistic and this is a result of a housing bubble, resulting from deregulation of markets.

  • Soon America will be just like BHO's fathers land, we will be a third world country with famine and stearvation running rampant.
