1439 GMT -6 hrs Friday, October 14, 2011 Sorry sorry sorry, a good example of one very good guitar riff is that infectious chords heard in the song "Europe" by Killing Joke —pianos, saxophones, guitar solos ( "La Bamba" ), a middle riff in "Peggie Sue" ... Sorry sorry sorry: a sticky riff has to do with guitar chords AT THE VERY BEGINNING of a GOOD Song. The other musical instruments can ALSO be utilized to initiate a song BUT a piano riff ISN'T a guitar riff —for instance.

Brilliant!!!! Two personal favourites would have to be; Johnny and the Hurricanes, Cut Out, and Glen Glenn, Everybody's Moving

nice guitar from, er, Fats Domino :-)
I like the added mystery of not knowing what
riff is coming next. Good idea leaving out
the details in the info section!
