  • Coffee is fine on uberman. Since caffine takes 30 minutes to kick in, it is recommended that you take it right before going to sleep. Then, when it kicks in you can wake up easier. Also, transition is required. I'm on the uberman sleep cycle and I have been for a month now. To stay awake, you need to keep your mind occupied. Thats why famous inventors did it. They had a lot to do. I have a lot of courses this year. Thats how I get my home work done.

  • @skyperox I think part of what killed me is that i was was quite a heavy coffee drinker, and then when i decided to change my sleep patterns i stopped all caffeine.

So i was also having some caffeine withdrawals

  • He was like that on the first day? Shit... I'm on day two and day one was fucking butter.

  • @jackfb14 I ate a big block of chocolate after dinner. i kinda didn't really think to far forward. It didn't get off to the best start.

  • Dude, just gimme a computer that'll run Oblivion like that and I will not have trouble staying awake for four hour periods.

  • even if that computer is a mac?

  • This guy looks like russle brand with no hair

  • Hilarious, the difference at how he presents this show and at 7:10 a TOTAL switch. I recognize the zombie-mode he's in and the way he shook the pancake mix completly powerless, it's how i felt yesterday.

His speech at the end is pretty hard to make out and is pretty funny.

    5 Stars!

  • At the beginning u said it won't be hard, dude...

  • Very important thing we have to know, and that is: Is polyphasic sleeping safe long-term, as in many decades?

  • Do you think part of the problem was that it was such a sudden change? Perhaps there's a way to gradually get into it- maybe by moving towards the Spanish type sleeping first, and then trying to split again.. I could really imagine it taking weeks to move into different patterns without causing a big shock.

  • This is s cheesy it's brilliant!

  • i did this for 2 weeks and the result was awesome. yes i did oversleep a couple times but you got to keep going. i stopped after 2 weeks though because my old school asian parents wanted me to sleep like a normal loser.

  • I am trying Polyphasic Sleep and recording all my results, and how I'm feeling. I am specifically doing the Dymaxion Sleep Schedule which is every 6 hours, you sleep for 30minutes. Stop by my website if your interested in Polyphasic Sleep.

  • you have to gradually fall into this schedule u know, u cant switch over in one day!

  • So interesting. I was thinking about trying this, but now I don't think I will.
