David Fite appeared in the hot seat on January 9-10, 2000 and became the 3rd person to see a $1,000,000 question on the American WWTBAM. What was interesting about his run was that he used a lifeline on his $100 question (like Neil Larrimore - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DYWw3uTgtg) about Duck Duck Goose. He wouldn't touch another lifeline until his $500,000 question.

Another interesting fact from this run: the very first Fastest Finger contestant that Regis introduced on this show was none other than future millionaire Ed Toutant in the first of three appearances on WWTBAM for Ed (his second appearance would be a year later).

This is part 1 of David's run from his $100 question to his $1,000 question.

  • Those questions up to 1000 were some of the hardest I've seen. Gosh.

  • @cgsmitherine3 I guess it never occurred to you they could possibly be trolling the guy, did it?

  • @eamon2please aww my bad, that's still bad though :P

  • @cgsmitherine3 Only 5% said "parrot."

  • It's called "Duck, Duck, Gray Duck" here in Minnesota.

  • i JUST NOTICED ED TOUTANT'S NAME IS ON THE FASTEST FINGER!!!

  • @cgsmitherine3 Ever consider the fact they may have answered wrong to throw him off? lol

  • honestly, 15 percent parrot, 1 percent monkey. WHY IS AMERICA SO FUCKING STUPID!!

  • regis was in how i met your mother btw

season 2 episode is called best burrgr in ny

  • He kinda has a point with the first one.

You typically have several 'Ducks' before you call 'Goose' even though the name is 'Duck, Duck, Goose'.
