@neo It has recently been postulated that black holes lead to new universes which makes a lot of sense as black holes crush everything down to the state of pure energy, which is exactly what the big bang is supposed to have been composed of.
So yes, there are other universes, but it makes no sense to call reality a multiverse because we only have access to our own universe. There is no way to send anything through a portal that crushes things to pure energy, ergo our, THE, universe is finite.
@neomagnamus11 If there is no evidence to support something then there is no reason to believe it. Believing something without eason is called faith. Ergo you are on about the same intellectual footing as the Aztecs who believed they had to cut out people's hearts as sacrafice to the sun god.
The universe is expanding but there is an edge. All scientific evidence(the only evidence worth talking about) points to the universe being finite.
Instead of pumping oil from underground from a oil rig that is a few hundred metres square we now have to grow our enegry on vast plantations that are kilometres square. The more land we use to produce energy the less land there is left for the environment.
Also it takes much more effort and man hours to grow energy then it does to pump it out of the ground which will eventually make everything more expensive as we waste labour that could be producing something else.
Alternative fuels also have extreme negative impacts on people AND the environment as well as the economy as a whole.
For example ethanol is now being grown instead of food in many places and this led to a massive increase in food prices which caused both riots and the Libyan revolution.
Ethanol is horrible for engines and gums them up much more quickly which will eventually be a cost to all of us.
One of the Hidden costs of war is the continual drain on a nations economy,i.e. wealth transferred from the government (derived from taxes) to political allies with no method of recovery of funds expended (other than taxes in income, which the higher tax bracket pays less). Not fully realized is the taxing effect of government programs and services not available, because you are instead spending the money on war, Military and contractors.

@neomagnamus11 multiverse? Define it please as I'm almost sure it doesn't exist.

@neomagnamus11 Resources are absolutely finite, the universe is finite, so all that is in it is also finite.

U.S. Senate introduced Bill S. 3268 a bill to tighten oversight of oil speculators.
Contact your Senator and tell them to vote Yes!!!
