Willy Fritsch & Lilian Harvey in Die keusche Susanne (1926)

"Die Keusche Susanne" / "The Innocent Susanne" was the first movie in which Lilian Harvey and Willy Fritsch were filming together. It was produced in summer 1926 as a silent movie. For both actors it was the start to a long term successful career in German movie business with 11 more movies together. Amongst them: "Three Good Friends" / "Die Drei von der Tankstelle", "Happy Ever After" / "Ein blonder Traum" a.m.m. until Lilian Harvey emigrated to the US in 1939.
Music: "Ein bisschen Liebe für mich" written by Paul Abraham and performed by Lee Parry, wife of director Richard Eichberg. The song originally belongs to another movie.

Toller Filmausschnitt.

Habe fast alle Tonfilme mit Fritsch/Harvey aber leider keinen Stummfilm mit ihnen.

Hat jemand diesen Film (Die keusche Susanne) ? Habe gehört er wurde anfang November mit Livemusik in Deutschland gezeigt. Vielleicht kommt er bald ins Fernsehen und als DVD raus.

Das wäre toll !!!!

Thanks for this film clip of Willie Fritsch. It is great to actually see him on film because I have German tobacco cards of him made in the early 1930's. I have over 1,000 German tobacco cards of actors and actresses. I have been doing name searches on youtube to try to find film clips of the actors and actresses on my cards.
