The "reprogrammed by SEGA" is misleading. they basically ported the (horrible) Amiga version, made by Tiertex, to the Master System.

This version it's just terrible. Even for a 8 bit system. Ninja Gaiden was much better and was 8 bit. I'm not saying that the console is terrible but this Strider version was so horribly programmed that kept me thinking why SEGA released it.

@dumbfk12 As everything that King Midus touched turned to gold, everything that Tiertex touched turned to crap. They worked their same crappy magic on "Strider Returns" for Sega Genesis.

@MewtwoGenetic God I hated it when I bought it, I was expected an arcade port. I was in denial and kept playing it and eventually it grew on me. One glorious day, I beat it and was shocked. Mainly because I never finish games.
