Such a nice car... Used to own a '88 Slegato edition Scirocco, Bilstein/Boge suspension kit with G60 Corrado gun powder mags. Unbelievable look! The flywheel was reduced to about 5 pounds making the engine rev like a superbike... Unfortunately. I could not install kiddie seats in the back. Guess it was time to grow up.

I had a Black one in 1989. My dream car (still is). I tired to move a telephone pole with it. It didn't work.

I once did own a rocco for 17 years it was like my most trustfull thing i ever knew one day my friend and i were at the race track it ran good for about 20 min after that the engine exploded chunks of it i found on the ground. Since that day its been siting at the garage i hope one day i will bring it back to life.

i had two scirocco's in the 80's and i am entering misty eye'd old biffer mode mk1 GLI in gold the only colour to have for the time it was a nice fast car and economical.
got my mk2 in 84 had a xr3i for a year nuf said about that. the mk2 gti was just superb in red no problems and had the full BBS kit fitted.

Hi guys, thanxs for your nice coments! The wheels are nothing expensive, just 5 year old normal 15inch Advanty. What i think is the "hint" with the wheels is that they have angles (which go with the design of the 2nd generation roccos, and on top of that its the specific colour combination of the body and the wheels. Wheels accidently came with a grey crome kinda shade and not typical alum. alloy that realy looks good with the shampain silver colour of the body ;)
