great video as always sean! were the seas so lumpy that the 'big D' wouldn't steer herself without the autopilot?

uh,no she wouldn't steer herself. There were times that the autopilot couldn't even keep up.The are only a couple of shots where you can really see swell of any size in the video, but it was there.Ask Jimmy. Let me put it this way,It was a challenge standing up and you could not stand up without holding on. It's one thing to balance the sailplan is smooth water....this is a whole 'nother animal. You have to still balance the sailplan just to get to the point that the autopilot can react.
