  • I think "product of the letters" might be when you take each letter of the word and times them and "product of the words" might be when you times each of the words and times them.

    if a = 1 and d=4 then 'ad' = 1*4 = 4 and 'dad' = 4*1*4 = 16.

Product of the letters would be 4 and 16.

Product of the words would be 16*4 = 64.

    Maybe?

  • what do you mean by 'the product of the letters'?

  • I believe you mean at 2:24 and 3:18 when figuring out e and Pi in the OT and NT of the Bible? I don't know what it means. I've been trying to figure it out myself.

If you made "product of the letters" equal to X. then you can fill in the rest of the equation, by using Hebrew and Greek, and set it equal to 2.7183 x 10^65 or 3.1416 x 10^17 respectively and solve for X. Then try to see where that number fits in to the text.

  • Stunning! I'm going to use this in my Circuits and Systems Electrical Engineering course. This really helps me. I've been trying to grasp the intuitive-ness of this equation....which seems impossbile to do. Just accept it!!!! Sort of like believing in Christ....----Brian

  • Do you know what "product of the letters" means at 2:24 and 3:18? Username 'clubsandwedge' was asking and I didn't know.

How did the Circuits and Systems Electrical Engineering course go? did this video help?

  • Nice video except for all the God propaganda.

  • Sure, god created mathematics. That is why he and his church put Galileo on trial, that is why they shun Darwinism. That is why he allowed the church to execute the Spanish inquisition. God put i and Pi in the bible, along with Britney Spears birthday. Because the omnipotent being is totally Christian. THIS EQUATION ONLY SHOWS HOW SELF SUFICIENT NATURE IS, IT DOES NOT NEED SOME CHRISTIAN NUT LIKE YOU TO SAY THAT god DID IT. Tell god to stop killing his sons and get the sand out of his crack )(

  • fuck god

  • [e^i(pi)]+1= 0

    subtract 1 from both sides

    [e^i(pi)]= -1

thus substituting back into the original equation:

    -1+1=0

Makes complete sense in that sense. I don't know why people keep saying this equation is proof of God. All it can possibly imply is that we were "endowed" with sufficient intelligence to construct a mathematical system. It doesn't necessarily prove anything.

  • It proves one of two things --

    1. the existence of a Supreme Being, as most most authentically described in the Koran (rather than a Trinity God as in the Bible).

    2. That religion is not true but has an irrational pull so strong even great intellects get fooled by it.

  • someone please explain to me how that "famous equation" is possible if i doesn't have a numerical value. i know he says i is free of material definition and exists out of pure logical necessity but i'm not sure what that means. i'm kind of a noob at math, sorry.

  • Am I following this logic correctly?

    1. Holy fuck, math

    2. ????

    3. Bible is correct

    you are retarded

  • I am agnostic. I am also an engineer who has taken many physics/math classes.

I understand the worlds need for religion:

    1. Fear of mortality

    2. Lazy man's crutch (easier to sit back and say "God did it" than it is to study & learn)

Having said that, studying science inevitably instills a sense that there is an artist/composer of this universe...but none of those invented by man.

When we no longer require man's "organized religions" there will finally be peace.

  • God is a mathematical fallacy. The concept of God is nothing more than division by zero.

  • @MemeMachine1 Lol, glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that.

  • The fact that the most important numbers in Mathematics are either complex or irrational would seem quite undesigned...
