Riding to the structure fire with McFarland FD as they send Engine 1. Note the smoke and fire as they enter the driveway. This crew does a good job of getting on it.

Why need two-side stopping when firetruck comes?

It gives them that much of a safer path to get through, big heavy vehicle at high speeds, who really wants to be close to that. Nice to see all the respect for emergency vehicles.

That is just one way out of the station, so if train present, the route changes slightly.

@del0griffith lol we never stop, not at stop signs and not at red lights: most people pull over and cross traffic stops before they can actually see us, and the be blast through red lights and intersection with hardly slowing down, and still driving safe: Except from some scratches as we parked one of our trucks on scene, we didn't had an accident for at least 5 years
