Well, he went through hell (almost literally) for the slim chance that his girlfriend might still be alive

Most people would say the hell with it and give up, but he didnt

With that kind a devotion, i think id call him a Hero

@IamUnforgiven221 Is that true? I thought He's doing it to protect a planet or to survive an invasion of Necros. But yeah he has real guts to do that, I don't think even I would do that.....For the person I love maybe but I wouldn't really do it for fun :/

Yeah, he volunteered for the repair mission in the first Dead Space so he could see if his girlfriend was ok, because he got that weird, broken up message from her.

After that he spent the rest of the time making sure the ship didn't fall apart around him and trying to find her.

Huh, thats funny, cuz it took me about the same amount of time for both games, about 8 or 9 hours total.

I found that Dead Space 2 was alot more... intense, than the 1st one.

They throw so many necros at you (about 3 or 4 times as many on the screen at any given time) and for a solid 2 or 3 mins at some points.

I also found the story line and gameplay more interesting and indepth than the 1st one, considering they doubled or tripled their types or enemies.
