Prime Minister Gordon Browns sick attitude toward Iceland is just loco. He has put Iceland on his terrorist list for its banking practices!!! Since Brown thought that Iceland was going to default on its Icesave accounts he took action. The action he took was straight gangsta bully style, he didn't take over the bank that held Icesave accounts he seized the assets of a totally unrelated bank, the Kaupthing, and collapsed it. Gordon has stated in his speech that he will use beggar-my-neighbor policy-meaning a policy of promoting oneself at the expense of others. SOUNDS LIKE THE US TO ME!!!!!

  • Britain and the Netherlands are to be blamed for this they are forcing Iceland into artificial debt using illegitimate claims of Icelandic banks failing in Britain and Netherlands. Which those two countries deliberately seized the Icelandic bank...Predatory Capitalism.

  • @adalstef

Well my friend as a Pakistani I hope you Icelandic people do not falter to the UK! I wish the Icelandic people will fight back and resist this usury by the UK.

I hope Iceland will prevail, take care.

  • @Clanki You're comment suggests that you believe I'm mad at you for disliking the United States. Let me clarify that I'm not.

And yes, I agree, many of our schools are, unfortunately, very poor in quality. But don't think that just because I'm an American I automatically think that socialism = communism. Because I don't.

My first question was simply one of curiosity.

  • @DominatingNA And before you ask.

Yes I do have some good friends who are from the USA and live there.

They know plenty enough about how the real world is which is why they are my friends.

What I have learned from them is that pretty much MOST you learn about history in your childhood is complete bullshit in the US school system.

Like socialism = communism = is wrong.

socialism = bad = is wrong

and we could probably go on forever if i went over what my friend told me about the US.

  • @DominatingNA Oh also.... the USA bankrupted Argentine back in 2000.

The USA has on purpose blackmailed other governments, done internal spying & stolen resources completely from other country's without paying a dime.

So trust me.... Iceland is not the only one who wouldn't mind seeing the USA wiped off the face of the planet.

And they're opinion of the culture and people is even less than that of the government.

    No offense meant.

  • @DominatingNA Which ironicly is the view of MOST of the world of the USA.

The usa has committed tons of crimes against humanity, are supporting the genocide of palestine (they are throwing the entire population out of palestine slowly, thousands each year).

Yup.... if the USA does go bankrupt (which it will within 50 years if the spending keeps going like this) You can pretty much expect it to be nuked off the face of the planet by 90% of the world.

    That's how hated it is.

  • @Clanki Great....

  • @DominatingNA And I could mention a million other things that the USA has done either towards or directly to Iceland.

  • @DominatingNA Let's put it this way: we were the first to acknowledge Israel as an independant nation, & Palestine, israel call´s us nazi's. Dick cheney's daughter wants to invade iceland because of wikileaks, The Usa had a big part in bankrupting our nation & has given us many threats over various reasons, has had Icelander's working as spy's for them spying on the public, left the country leaving hundreds of mines left to clean up.

TO put it short: Hated more than the nazi's were

  • @Clanki What is the general opinion of the US in Iceland?

  • @mac9876ab Nobody will take my freedom to do what I want.

Those who try to tie me down can expect a short life.

  • Icelanders don't need loans from a old criminal money system that will plunge. Iceland only need to use it's natural recurses, free energy. And create a real currency.

Proud to be neighnour to come from Faroe Islands and be their neighnour. Wish that our pussy politicians would be replaced with the likes of Òlafur Ragnarson or Ron Paul!!
