@Brownieinbox No magic. Just hooked it up. People wire up an extra button so that they can eject during BIOS. If I need to access the drive when I'm not loaded into an OS I just pull the cover down and hit the button. In Windows you just right click on the DVD drive and hit eject. In OSX you just press the eject button if you have an Apple keyboard or just hold down F12 if you have a PC keyboard.

I mean the G5 has a drive where the Drive pulls out however i have been looking online and some people need to wire in a button to eject the optical drive, What is your current setup does the optical drive eject normally
