The Digital Booklet for the Icky Thump album reads "Bagpipes on 'Prickly Thorn, But Sweetly Worn' and 'St. Andrew' performed by Jim Drury."
You CAN get other people to play with you when you make an album, you know. Even if they didn't have another person come play bagpipes for them, Jack could have overdubbed it. You DO know what that is, right? It's another common recording-studio trick. People don't really just play songs all together in the studio anymore. They dub over with each track.

This is probably my favorite song on the album (well 2 songs), I love shit like this!

@astrosrule25 Heheh! look at a live video. Neither is it a keyboard, or is Jack playing guitar. :) Check it out.

I don't know why but this song always calls to mind the scene in This is Spinal Tap of the dwarfs dancing around the foot tall replica of Stonehenge

this is a KEYBOARD not bagpipes. it couldn't possible be bag pipes cuz jack carries a guitar and in icky thump look at the KEYBOARD its right there. Meg has to handle percussion.
