Opel Corsa OPC Sets Circuit Record at the Nürburgring

The Nürburgring Nordschleife, nicknamed the "Green Hell", met its match today in the shape of a standard production Corsa OPC. After 20.8 challenging kilometers, the stopwatch showed eight minutes, 8m47.99 seconds -- a new record for a supermini. Manuel Reuter set the officially confirmed circuit record during level four of Opel's popular motorsport initiative called "OPC Race Camp".

Now the new version "Nurbugring edition" with upped power and torque,better brakes and limited slip dif will make it under 8:30...

Hondas are fast-ish till they blow up. I once raced a Civic Type-R in my old Vauxhall Carlton (Opel Omega) Estate 3.0 24v AUTOMATIC! and just as I was about to over take him I was showered in oil and engines bits! He blew his engine trying to pull away, Ha Ha! My old Astra GTE 2.0 8v (Kadett GSI) used to eat Civics too. You haven't a clue mate.
