A RoadcraftNottingham response to Thatmanfromyorkshire's question about using tank bags, I thought I'd do this small clip. Hope it helps Dave. :-)

  • Hi, I've been looking for a tank bag and have noticed that there are some pretty huge ones up to around 38 IL. Do there obstruct the instruments? And someone also told me you shouldn't put laptops or other digital storage device in these because of the strong magnets, what's you opinion? Or has anyone else has experience of losing data from their devices while using these?

  • @hamstercatfish Best just try the bag first, see how it feels. I've not heard anything about laptops, sorry.

  • Haha, I love the 'strategically' placed nail.

Thanks matey :) I might get one...

  • @Blahdeblah52 Hahahahahaha, I still laugh watching that, but what WAS accidental was that little metal shard/lump, that was genuine and is more likely to be unseen (but not if you wipe your hand over the magnets) Well spotted lol

  • What happened to the fazer ;)

  • @marksbgm I Just thought, you winked....I think it's you Mark (the one who bought the Fazer from me)...if it is....you nob! If not, sorry - lol

  • Loved how you stored it lol :)

  • good way of hiding the big ugly speedo on my son's honda shadow!!

  • Again a good video. I use a Bagster Tankbag and tank cover on my GTR1000. It's not magnetic but the bag clips onto the tank cover with som,e very sturdy clips. I have used this bag on many long trips and when the bag is expanded it nearly doubles in size. This is also handy on long trips as you can use it as a rest as well as you are going along which does reduce fatigue. I also have a magnetic bag but dont use it now as the Baglux system is so easy and very secure when fitted to the bike.

  • Looked like an Alien face hugger at the end!

    Nice vid. :)

  • great video :)

  • Sorry Russ couldn't resist it you know me any opportunity for a giggle lol
