  • No one should be bagging out any type of service that involves risking your lives for others.

I always see Marines going at it with the Army, but civilians going at it with the Coast Guard?

You people need to learn your place in this world.

  • My father did 27years in the USCG, Old School Coast Guard... 12 years in Search and Rescue (Via Boats), in Alaska waters, Hawaii, New York, etc etc... Im incredibly proud of him, I enlisted in the service cause I felt I wasnt worthy to be a Coastie (Thus I went army), You have to be severely braindamaged or troubled to rip apon the coast guard whom the World has UTTER RESPECT FOR, built up in 250+years, Even landed troops in Omaha! (wasnt navy, army, or marines!) or patroled waters in vietnam!

  • It's a tradition for service members to bag on other service members like a Sailor in the Navy giving an Airman in the Air Force some shit, but if you aren't serving, please keep your peace.

  • what i don't understand is why they don't have miniature transponders attached to the cold water suit. Something that could transmit, say, 5 miles for 12 hours. The Coast Guard could locate their last position from the ship's floating transponder then tune in to the weaker signal from each person in the water. Something like that shouldn't cost very much.

They could also use fluorescent dye like fighter pilots although that would be of limited value in that sea.

  • @IxBroncosxI What's your problem, I have risked my life to save others before and would gladly do so again.

  • @rizner12 ive heard the jathawk carries 6000 ponds of fuel and fly for over 6 hours, so it could be possible but im not sure....

  • Now these are the true Guardian Angels that always too put even their own lifes in

danger to go out to rescue whom ever needs their assisstance out inthe BERING SEA.Our grand Coast Guard. God Bless Them Always.
