Epic 4G Touch : EL29 update experience

Samsung/Sprint is pushing out a firmware update over the air' that will update you to build Number: Gingerbread.EL29. There is several bug fixes and tweaks. The bad thing about the update is the ability to have a Scrollable Wallpapers'. Hope you enjoy the vid. Any questions ? feel free to ask

Lol I can't afford to lose my live wall paper scrolling. I think this is forever cause the galaxy note doesn't scroll either. Ugh!

@Mensaj3Productionz Yeah but with Ice Cream Sandwich you can disable Touch Wiz and run ICS Stock and the wallpaper is scrollable :D

Did your 3g speeds increase? Lol I still haven't updated and refuse to so far, but these notifications are getting annoying -_-

the reason the wallpaper is not scrollable now is because of the continuous scrolling of the home screen. if continuous scrolling is disabled the wallpaper will scroll again. update ur version of touchwiz or use go laucher ex and u will be able to do this again.

the scrollable wallpaper fix is simple. 2 options. 1 flash calkalins 2.9 rom which is fantastic or root phone and install root explorer and push the tw30launcher.apk from calks rom or stock eko2/eg30 rom. replace this file with the one in /system/app

thanks for posting this man saved me alot of frustrastion unrooting and all that shit just to lose my scrollable wallpaper...hope someone makes a vid when they update their 4G network range =D
