There is a delicate balancing act within the body that is driven by environmental conditions of both danger and plenty, and our logical interpretations of those conditions.

I talk about it here.

  • i find it amazing how much you think you know what you are talking about....do a lil bit more research plz

  • *back and to the left*

  • 95 percent of people with gastric ulcers is caused by a bacterium called Helicobacter Pylori and not directly related to stress as we had once thought. This research won the 2005 Nobel Prize.

Look into getting an antibiotic to kill the bacteria or try eating raw garlic. Research.

  • Yeah, I know that. I talked about the H. Pylori discovery in a video of mine called "Cholesterol and Cancer".

  • @DuppyLoLo

while it's true that the H. Pylori bacteria causes ulcers - the reason that there is too much bacteria in the stomach (in a large number of cases) due to lowered immune response because of excessive stress. Excessive stress lowers immune response - often H Pylori is first to build up. Stomach ulcers remain the CLASSIC stress-enhanced disease. side-bar: Sapolsky is brilliant.
