80% of the time when the internet is down at a school resetting the primary internet devices in the server room solves the problem.

Switch off the router
Unplug the blue Netgear Switches and Internet Filter.
Reset the Utility and File Server using the administrator login and password. Much like a normal windows machine, except you must press buttons A and B on the black box with buttons A through D. Much like a windows machine, click start, shut down, and restart, except you will be asked to type in any explanation of why you are turning off the server.
You may be alerted that users will be logged off, but that is ok since it is most important that the users have the internet connection restored.
While the servers are rebooting, plug back in all devices you just unplugged.
The servers must fully restart before the internet will work. If the servers do not automatically restart, remove the covers and press the power button manually to turn them back on. Do not turn the servers off with the power button. If the internet still does not work once everything is restarted, contact the administrator or network service provider.
