Mullah is simply trying to control the religion Islam. They want us to follow only Mullas, which is happening in Christianity nowadays. We are not supposed to use the logic or knowledge which is given to humans from Allah ta'alah. And he appreciates use of brain as it is stated in Quran. But more the people are ignorant, more the Mullah will be happy.

Today we can tell conjunction to the second, 30 years back was minutes, therefore 1000 years back was much less accurate. 1400 years ago, skies nice and clear, no pollution, no industrialisation. Now, its so much more dense, therefore, wrong sightings or no sightings where previously there would have been. Also, calculation was not recommended by previous scholars as it was difficult to find few that knew it back then. Now, we have the internet & programs that show u to the second. Unity=Calc.

Calculations is wrong ppl. Throw away your calculators. How funny. The astrologers of those days were wrong more often than they were right. They were also fortune tellers and known as magicians. Also, prophet said due to sighting cause there was no other way. If the prophet said fast due to hubble telescope then... Another point, this brother should go back to putting a stick in the ground to determine prayer times, Watch is Haram brother!!

we muslims should be ashamed for not being able to have eid on the same day. its like having two days for celebrating christmas, how funny would that be? same as eid. I bet every non-muslim would be laffing thier heads off at us.

thank you for posting this, some mosques in my area claim that eid is on wed by calc. But they saw the hilal. However, al7amdullilah my mosque does the eid upon the sighting of the hilal.
