That's Tim Taylor doing the news.
In addition to former staff announcer John FitzGerald on the v/o, other veteran announcers they had at WJW/WJKW TV-8 (now FOX-8) including FitzGerald back then were Howard Hoffman, Andy Hale, Mike Marlier, Joe Grant, Lawson Deming, Joe Dannery, Phil Thomas, and Dean Griffin.
