Admirable mentality this pitcher has. I think his great emotional detachment stabilized him from getting swayed by any other internal or external influence and helped him focus on his primary job on the field all the time. Such a true professional. Maddux is the best representation of Berra's quote "Baseball is 90% mental, the other half is physical." By mastering his mind, Greg mastered baseball.

I remember the days when I would turn on TBS and watch maddux, smoltz, and glavine. They were masters of their profession. Those were the days.

Maddux was humble and did stuff quietly.
I saw a lot of him in the NL East...a true artist...so efficient i remember his complete games were like 70 pitches lol!
