I have spent months tweaking this and have done something like 20 takes on the vocals until I was happy with it. I like the way it finally came out though, I think the effort was well worth it. *ALL* OF THESE INSTRUMENTS ARE ACTUALLY BEING PLAYED BY ME.
The only digital instrument your hearing is the midi piano which was recorded through a 1/4" guitar cable 3 times and then stacked to give it a more realistic sound:) Ironically the electric guitar you hear was actually recorded from a mic'd amplifier, which is a technique that, with the advent of better software, is being left by the wayside. I think it sounds better than artificial modelers though, or at least the ones at my disposal.

Crappy assed 2005 Radio shack branded keyboard on "grand piano"
Frettless Samick bass
Glockenspiel of unknown make
Electric guitar of my own make played through a Orange amplifier
