Love it,great tone. I have a starfire 4 also, very good axe.I wish it had a les paul type tailpiece unto the core though.I play it through a re-wired champ and a fender reverb unit.Your Princeton reverb sounds fantastic.

Leave it original and sell it to buy a 335 if that is what you want. Let the Starfire V go to a someone that will love it like it is.

I really dig your tones man. The overdrives really remind me of John Scofield.

Great playing, superb tone. I have a '67 Starfire V, I was going to sell it but this video reminded how good it can sound. Mine has the stock smaller (weaker) H'buckers. With the '59's yours sounds more like a 335--which is great. Tempted to do the pu swapout, but don't want to enlarge the holes. Suggestions? Rewind?

Hi there thanks for comments!I should mention that I had frets replaced with jumbo bass model!... sort of a Gibson touch..Guild pick ups are...honest and good enough for rythm,I guess you could find a pick-up maker that has smaller .Bridge&PU change will shoot Fire in this Star and make you forget about the holes right away!
