@martinpiskor10 The foods you should eat in my opinion are whole foods with no minimal if any added ingredients. The things I eat everyday are skinless boneless chicken breast, lean ground beef, egg whites, yams, almonds, avocado, flax oil, olive oil, natural peanut butter, brown rice, spinach, broccoli, and apples.

@Health4Thought thanks for the info man its helped alot. Ive concluded I dont eat enough, hence why im guessing im struggling with energy levels and potentially putting on weight. Worked out my current diet and it consists of only 2300 calories, which is made up of roughly 170g of protein, 200g of carbs and 89g fat. This ends up equalling a 30:35:36-ish ratio. I dunno how accurate I am but i see where i need to improve. Found it interesting how much fat there was in my diet as a percentage and

@Health4Thought 5'10, 162 lbs, age 24, workouts 3/week but other than that not very active, ectomorph. How many calories do I have to eat in order to gain weight? Thanks

@roflmaoinmy Ok so generally for someone with your stats I would recommend about 3,000 cals/day, since you are an ecto, I would probably say maybe 3,200 - 3,500. You might have to play with that range to see what is going to allow for the best muscle gain and the least fat gain. Remember, Muscle gain is a slow process so if your putting on weight REALLY fast, it is very likely most of it is fat. But if you are only concerned with weighing 185, then go ahead and up the cals from there as you wish
