Tippe top

y mom spun a Tippe Top http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tippe_top and it did not turn over; however, it spun...and spun...and spun...for at least 3 or more minutes. I was in such shock and she was too that we both just stared at it in disbelief....occasionally looking at each other to confirm that we are both seeing it. It wasn't until several minutes had passed, and I had called my friend in from the other room to look at the amazing sight that I thought to get my phone out and record it. Unfortunately (and I am still mad at myself for this) I got a bit too close with the camera, let out a breath of excitement, and messed up the top's spinning. I still got a bit of the top spinning with the same momentum it had from when she first spun it several minutes before.
