  • @colinandkellie I've spent 50 years listening to Blind Lemon Jefferson, Jimmie Rodgers, Michael Coleman and many other great "folk" artists from the 20's and, 30's who were recorded acoustically and by modern standards poorly, as well as a great deal of "well recorded" modern music and the quality of the sound in no way diminishes the performance for me. I can still hear the spirit and the heart inside the playing. Thanks hrnvideo for posting it.

  • Thanks for posting this. The sound is decent enough. Kevin and Cal are ever graceful and inspiring even if the recording were much worse. This is The Long Set track from their great Across the Black River CD. Tunes are:

    1 Boys in the Lough

    2 Crowley's Reel

    3 Sean sa Cheo

    4 Reel of Rio

    5 Paddy Ryan'sDream

6 Wind that Shakes the Barley

  • In fairness.s..the sound overall is crap..it makes the youtube experience crap even for those that no what they are talking about ...whats the point in posting this.. these are prof trad musicans..don't spoil the experience

  • amazing!!! 5* ;D
