This has made me go goosebumpy! My Dad was Mike Mills from Free Spirit who brought Wedel over to the UK in the 80s and toured with him. Dad has sadly passed away now,so if anyone has any Free Spirit vids to youtube, that would be great! Particularly the David Alan Coe tour in the UK.

I met Wendel back in the early 80's whe he played the Wembley Festival his tour band then was Free Spirit been a fan ever since.

This was in August 1983 at The Peterborough Festival of Country Music in England. The band consisted of Dene O'Neil (Drums - now a long-term resident of Norway), John Berry (Bass- now currently the bass-player with "Slade"), John Stannard (Lead guitar who still does gigs with me) & myself (Roger Humphries)
