You're right... Being conservative does suck. It sucks because we have to be the adults in the room who have to explain to everyone else that nothing in life is free. Everything costs time and money. And the reality is that hardworking Americans are tired of having to put 50 percent of their day into the pockets of government officials who don't understand basic math.

Fairness would mean that we would support unions. Prior to unions businesses would not pay employees with money - they would receive paper vouchers to use in company stores with incredible markups. Prior to unions, we worked over 40 hours with no overtime. Prior to unions we had no vacation or health care benefits or retirement. Prior to unions we had no OSHA or NFPA or NEC. Prior to unions we had no means of protecting ourselves from businesses. That was fair?
