music can be an avenue for dawah, especially for the youth. humm, wonder who came up with the female voice is haram...non sense should not exist in our ummah. Glad people are progressing & not listening to that statement. What I see here is that these beautfl sisters are performing to an audience out of culture and age. The people look stuffed. It's out of their comfort zone. Music is our thing soul, conscious rap/hip hop & R&B. So no matter our religion we will always express it thru music.
As salaamu alaikum...great performance, bad audience participation. First, i wish folkswould stop lying with this music is haram crap and the female voice can't be heard this is also crap!! The only thing haram is lyrical content and certain instrument for specific reasons. First of all that is sexist, and you have to research the time in which that came about when it is said the femail voice can't be heard. This in accruracy has to stop. These sisters are performing for dawah, yes music....
As far as i do respect my sisters in islam as they are tryin to do their best to get the attention of the younger muslims or the ones who are even thinking of taking that wonderful step in to islam im proud to a limit.....Sister its actually haram what you are doing in the sense of a so called nasheed (if thats what you call this) shouldnt have any involvement apart from voices and praisein to Allah and if so 2nd its actually haram for men to hear the beauitful voices of sister, please sisters
