  • you shouldnt drive that fast

  • her ears are absolutely huge.

  • What happend an what wil happen to 99% of the beginner bikers is not to over power or to brake in to a highside. The butt is the last thing off the bike.. Get your torso over and to the side of the bike before the butt. If you dont bring the upper body out you will end up as Irene. To turn too sharply -rolling the bike over too far- and crossing the limit of tire adhesion will make the tire slip and when you got gripp again ---> Highsider..

    Look at

Keith Code's A Twist of the Wrist II

  • hey, the only time i've seen a highside happen without turning was when my friend's bike's engine seized up at the end of the straight on the race track, and the back wheel locked up and slipped to the side and threw him off, but yeah i think you're right its not very common for that to happen. Thanks for the vid very informative! its good to see you riding again

  • I watched your crash video... your technique looks very good & smooth ... the only problem I think you had was you didn't pay attention to what your tires were telling you... but the only way to really know how to listen is to pass that threshold and crash. nice dog!

  • you did explain about high side and how it can happen, but what was your case? (too much breaking, exhausted tires..)?

  • OMG you are are not just a women rider, but a hot latina with a hot accent?!?!

  • if you didnt chop the throttle you would have been able to save the slide. you're body needs to move to the inside and not over the bike ala motorcrosser. you hang off your lower body way too much and your upper body is compensating for it. look at pictures and get some instruction at the race track. otherwise, you have a lot of guts to ride like that. i certainly commend you as this sport is not only fun but is also dangerous at the same time.

  • I noticed her lean position was twisted. She can get her knee down, but because her upper body is not leaning as far as her hips, it doesn't help the lean angle much. Leaning with the bike and having only one but cheek off the bike puts the rider in a better position to make a recovery from a slid like that.

Look at this video, notice the scraping sound of the peg scraping the ground then the back end breaks loose and... High side.

  • and on how it happened... i was double checking to see whether you had hit the stripes on the road but it looks like just too much throttle too soon, which on a Gixxer Thou is not much at all, especially in low gears at high revs. these 'steel horses' are still wild animals, and that is probably why we love them so much
