As a musician myself, I respect all kinds of music. From Swing to Metal, it's all good with me. But when it comes to classical music I can get a bit picky. Not with this song. Ever since I heard it in BoB, I couldn't get enough. (I'm a sucker for sad music sometimes) The first two minutes of the song are extreemly moving.

As a future soldier I salute everyone whos served and is serving who have listened to this and brought back memories...I also say thank you to everyone who looked this up even if they hate classical music for they know the emotions in this song mostly from people watching Band of Brothers.....thank you to you all

Kodaly do the best Beethoven quartets in my opinion, shame I can't seem to find their complete cycle of the quartets, only a few of the late ones (not even the grosse fuge).

@sstuddert I don't know if their complete cycle is available as a boxset, but they recorded all of the Beethoven quartets, including the Grosse Fuge, in 9 seperate volumes. These are still available on the Naxos label.
