Me beating the final boss of Ys 3 for the Super NES in about 8 minutes. (No codes used.)

And just in case anyone wonders, no, I'm not ducking, the ground undulates during this fight, causing Adol to go up and down a lot.

I honestly can do better than that. I kept hitting the wrong menu button because I hadn't played this game in awhile before I made this video and I could probably cut the time by a few minutes if I got back in practice.

  • I'm not sure I understand what your point is...

  • how do you pass the maze

  • I don't remember the exact instructions for getting through it now, but I'll bet what you're having trouble with is that at one point, you get on an elevator going down, and it comes to a stop. You have to wait on it to go down a second time after that.

  • This is the hardest goddamn game nobody talks about.

  • @FlyingOmelette he meant u were so close to finish him off at that time

  • OMG i been looking for this game for agesss!!! TY!

  • Actually, you CAN hit his arms while he's flying, it's just a bit tricy.

  • @FlyingOmelette I think with the elevator you have to go to the right or left of it, like there's a hidden passage?

  • 5:12 ya know that right there is what made him so hard. The trade off on damage, he could take a lil less then a third of your health in 1 hit =/ taking you down in about 4 or 5 and yet with the power ring the best you can do is about 1/18. Personally I never went with the power ring method. The time ring gave ya more time to get more licks in. The protection ring was the best if ya timed it right but it drained ring power so fast ya had to use it like for 1 hit and thats it

  • I'm not going to lie....... this boss was the most difficult boss i've ever had the unfortune of fighting on any SNES game.

  • I had this game on the SNES console and damn, this boss was hard as fuck.

  • Damn this si some great music
