HHDL speaks at a Mind and Life meeting in Dharamsala about helping others obtain liberation. Curiosity also leads to development of fields of knowledge...but epistemology is only important for refuting the views of other. However, such development of knowledge through scientific inquiry can be virtuous if it is motivated by virtuous reasons. A scientist should not feel too much attachment to their field of inquiry so as to avoid BIAS!
