This isn't as liam dryden song... he covered this. Don't know why everybody think this is is his. Ben folds got the idea for this song after he said he couldn't do something at a performance and somebody yelled "DO IT ANYWAY" to which then they started to improvise this song.

Oh, don't get me wrong; Ben Folds is beautiful. Great music! Liam is great as well, and his cover is brilliant. A Capella suits this song very well.

And you can't say that, that "Liam wouldn't have even thought of making a song like this one," because you haven't proof; that's a matter of perspective, and sort of like Schrodinger's Cat. We won't know until we hear one, and even then it will still be divided.

You were right when you said that it got thumbed up by the swarm of fans that flocked in response to his video; but that doesn't justify the genius, the creativity of Ben Folds Five, and that without their version, Liam wouldn't have even thought of making a song like this one. It's Bieber logic, more fanbase doesn't equal more genius.

It's ok though, it's an opinion if you think Liam's version is better, but you can't deny Ben Folds is better musically speaking.
