Viseu - Cidade de Viriato 4. part

Every Tuesday, the market - a feira - comes to Viseu, as it comes to every Portuguese city and town around the country. There you can buy anything you need for your living, from food to clothing, tools and kitchen utensils etc. etc. Or you can simply stroll around enjoying the friendly but busy atmosphere. And then, on the other side of the city, you find the new Palacio do Gelo, the rebuilt shopping mall which actually have an interesting architecture compared to many of the ugly concrete boxes you find here in Scandinavia. Old and new meet in Viseu.
This was the last part of my series of videos from Viseu, but certainly not the last ever from there:) And the music is again by Carlos Peninha with vocal from Carlos Clara Gomes, another musician and composer from Viseu.

Rapaz, vc quer me matar do coração, ia todas as semanas nessa feira, ainda tenho na mente as ciganas gritando cinco euros, cinco euros, cinco euros... se pudesse vivia ai, o ritmo da cidade e do país é ótimo, muito diferente de são paulo e brasil, ganha-se muito em qualidade de vida. A minha mulher leu as tuas palavras e está completamente de acordo, como ela é paulistana, ela sabe! Eu também viví em SP durante 4 méses, em Itaquera, e costumo dizer que não conheço Brasil, mas sim, conheço um pouco de SP e o que eu conheço, é ruim. Espero que podes ir para Viseu logo por que os ciganos ainda gritam cinco euros! só cinco euros! =)
