Steven Spielberg's short film tribute to American U.S. veterans. Narrated by Tom Hanks and music by John Williams, the film debuted during the 2008 Democratic Convention. The film, as well as its context within the convergence of Hollywood and politics can be an interesting platform for media discussion.
this is nothing but political strategy against the war and steven spittburg is exploiting these poor war vets. if he were a true patriot he would have voted for a president who would protect israel.. obama has no good intentions for the jewish race

there is no evidence to support we went to war just for oil. we were attacked and reserved the right to kick the ass of anyone we thought might have been involved. iraq is a focal point in the war on terror and we have the enemy on the run. we are winning this battle and we can win this war. it sickens me how this war has to be so political, especially the democrats. they used this war for political gain and try to undermine public support for out troops and this war. hell's a waiting libs....

I like Steven Spielberg, but even I think this is too saccharine. The war in Iraq was clearly for oil.
