  • hey everyone, i was wondering if you could help me...

i am at a student at an architecture college, so the software we need happen to be like archicad, 3Dcad and autocad 2012. the problem is i suck at this technical sort of stuff, processors ram, etc. ive been inlove with the idea of convertible laptops, i was just wondering if this laptop could handle my type of softwares? and will last a long time? if it wont, does anyone have any other suggestion when it comes to converitible laptops?

  • @Lola2673 Hey! Whatever software you need to use, will have minimum system requirements on the box, you just have to see that the system can handle it. This one is an i5 M450 (processor) @ 2.5 ghz (speed) with 4GB (Ram) and 64-bit OS. I suggest this if it can handle your software with an external monitor if you need to carry it around or the T900 that can be found at the blog link in the description

  • This laptop has got a shared graphics card, is ti possible to change the graphics card of this Fujitsu Lifebook??

  • @doyouknowme94 The TH 700 uses the integrated graphic "HD Graphics" from Intel.

It is not possible to change the graphic card. Hope that helps

  • I had a friend who got this. He didn't realize that you don't write on the screen.

He ruined a $1000 tablet PC by drawing on it with pen.

  • 3:45 for ports overview.

  • @jasonvrodrigues Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't see it before! I checked your blog, Lifebook4Life looks like a very cool program.

  • @yungphatrod I recieved it from a Fujitsu project, I was part of. The project blog is in the description.

  • @jasonvrodrigues thank you very much for answering my questions so promptly! (I posted a thank you but it seems to have disappeared). I think I may get this. One more Q: where did you purchase it? I can only find versions with i3 processors.

  • @jasonvrodrigues Thanks for answering my questions! Greatly appreciated. I think I may get this tablet.
