Outrage 550 Maiden Flight, Test Hover - New JR X9303

My 1st ever flight of the Outrage 550 Pro, and a New X9303 2.4ghz radio. After waiting out a week of inclement weather, I decided to spin up my newly finished Outrage 550 Pro for the first time this evening. The transition from 300/400 class helis to this 550 class is dramatic, so wasn't quite sure what to expect on initial lift off, but wasn't prepared for the feel of such an ultra responsive and sensitive head. The 550 3D head is butter smooth and lightening quick, as I found out on first lift off. It will do exactly what it is told, exactly when it is told without any lag or delay. An unsure or unsteady thumb will lead instantly to pilot induced oscillation, which nearly did me in on my initial lift off, my 2nd lift off was much better controlled, although far from great. A couple more orientation flights in the driveway and it's on to the flying field for some serious flight time. This is one incredible Heli, it's like going from a Tonka toy to a Formula 1 Racer.. the step up in power is amazing!!

Very nice heli ... I've got a couple my self but im doing some research on the outrages 550.... how do you like the construction of the heli ? is it all carbon fiber ? and what motor are you using thanks mate ! good luck
